Partners In Care Maryland is a community based nonprofit providing no cost neighborly services and community engagement to support older adults living in their own homes. Time is our currency. We exchange time for talent and services. Our members provide transportation, minor home repairs, and advocacy. We support caregivers and providing meaningful opportunities for social engagement for older adults aging in place. Our re-sale boutique is a social enterprise. We graciously accept donations of goods which are sold and proceeds go to supporting our programs across Maryland. Each week approximately 80 volunteers sort, process, merchandise, and sell donations. On average, we provide 150 rides each week. Last year our drivers circled the earth 6 1/2 times, traveling more than 162,000 miles. We also provide transportation for riders needing wheelchair accessibility on our PIC Up mobility bus.
