Pars Capital Partners, LLC is a transaction based firm launched to provide services exclusively to the companies operating in the fragmented Contract Research Organization (CRO) and Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO and CDMO) ecosystem. The CRO, CMO and CDMO subsectors are very fragmented in general and extremely fragmented in the micro, lower and middle portions of the market. At the same time, the nature of the services which the companies operating in the subsector deliver to their sponsors, and the numerous therapeutic areas they operate across, make the understanding of the industry very complex, requiring layers of knowledge and time to master the landscape.

Our thesis: a generalist banker, operating part-time or for the first time on a transaction in the CRO/CMO/CDMO sub-sector, cannot fully unlock the value of an asset in a liquidity event. At the same time, it is not operationally feasible or economical for a generalist banker to build the depth of knowledge and gather necessary data points needed to timely and fully unlock the value of the transaction for a single event.

Pars Capital Partners, LLC is fully committed to the sub-sector; our goal is to provide superior services to the companies operating within the subsector. The firm has developed a proprietary database of the companies operating in the landscape, has developed relationships with strategic, financial, analytical, governmental, media and educational stakeholders in the industry and can locate acquisition assets in a timely and efficient manner. On the Sell-Side, the firm has developed a database of transaction statistics to build the case for fully unlocking the divestiture value.
