Parlor Press LLC is an independent publisher and distributor of scholarly and trade books in high-quality print and digital formats, based in Lafayette, Indiana. Founded in 2002, it was created to provide an alternative scholarly platform that values emergent ideas while upholding strict standards of quality, credibility, and integrity, and it is managed by a small team of scholars across twelve book series, overseeing the process from peer review through production, distribution, and marketing.

The press serves authors and readers seeking credible, innovative writing across a range of subjects, delivering scholarly and trade titles in print and digital formats. It counts more than 200 authors and about 75 new book projects in development, and it plans to expand into multimedia and hybrid formats that leverage emerging printing and dissemination technologies. A recent development is the planned late-2026 release of Figure in a Field: Poems & Investigations under its Illuminations imprint, illustrating ongoing diversification within American poetics.
