PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy operates in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space with a focus on rare diseases, providing highly personalized patient support and therapy navigation. The organization fosters deep, ongoing relationships with patients, prescribers, and pharmaceutical partners to coordinate access and care. Founded in 2011 in a garage in Pittsburgh, it has grown into the largest independent rare pharmacy in the United States, combining established resources with a responsive, small-team approach.

It is licensed in all 50 states and was the first national pharmacy to achieve dual accreditations from ACHC and URAC. Its partnerships include Rhythm Pharmaceuticals and Savara, where it serves as the exclusive U.S. specialty pharmacy for IMCIVREE (setmelanotide) with expanded indications and for MOLBREEVI, respectively. In 2026 it earned the MMIT Patient Choice Award for patient satisfaction, marking the ninth time the company received this honor.
