Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is a private, non-profit higher education institution located in Yakima, Washington. Founded in 2005, it focuses on educating and training health care professionals with an emphasis on serving rural and underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest. The university offers five programs: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, and a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences. As part of its mission, the school seeks to prepare graduates who will practice in areas where access to care is limited. In 2025, the university announced a collaboration with Triumph Treatment Services to provide occupational therapy services for substance use disorder treatment.
