OSOD provides vital resources to industry through our establishment of four cores services. We can conduct our services in a good laboratory practice (GLP) or non-GLP environment in collaboration with partner laboratories or with one or more of our university-based partners. Our core services include:

We also offer Consulting Services. OSOD is a fully functional organization equipped to assist industry at all stages of the development process. Our "in-house" consulting services may include integrated participation from initial study design through clinical trials, or focused participation along the path of identification and development of lead therapeutic compounds and ocular devices.
Specifically, OSOD members are readily available to:
Participate in strategic planning
Consult on study design
Assess company needs for pilot studies, non-GLP or GLP pre-clinical and clinical evaluations
Participate in conduction of studies "in-house" at the company
Provide support for electrodiagnostic, OCT, clinical evaluations or other specialized procedures
Perform specific ocular surgeries
Assist in the analysis of data
