ONF International (ONFI) is a French subsidiary of the National Forestry Office (ONF) established to share French forestry know-how abroad. Based in Nogent-sur-Marne in the Île-de-France region, ONFI has provided expertise, technical assistance, and training for more than twenty years to clients across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. It works with scientific and technical partners, donors, governments, NGOs, private clients, and its parent organization to support forestry-related projects and knowledge transfer.

Its work encompasses natural forest management, plantations and agroforestry, climate change mitigation and adaptation—including REDD+ and CDM projects—and mapping and remote sensing to monitor forest cover. The organization serves a mix of governments, donors, private clients, NGOs and other partners, addressing needs in sustainable forest management, risk prevention, protected areas and landscape planning, and biomass energy.
