For 40+ years, OIC has provided training to unemployed and underemployed individuals, helping them to secure meaningful employment. We take a comprehensive approach to each student, identifying the barriers that have prevented them from succeeding and helping them to build strong skills and a deep sense of confidence in their abilities. OIC's career-specific certification trainings include Culinary Arts, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Office/Computer Careers.

OIC is a private non-profit organization funded through a combination of federal, state, local and private revenue sources, as well as through the generosity of the community we serve.

Over the years we have helped more than 30,000 people find better employment, gain marketable skills, and contribute to a better standard of living for our community. During these recent tough economic times, the need for our assistance is greater than ever, with a daily increase in requests for our services.
