The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) is a nonprofit organization in the environmental services field, based in Worthington, Ohio, and founded in 1979. It advances sustainable and organic farming and local food systems in Ohio and beyond through education, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. A core offering is OEFFA's organic certification program, one of the oldest in the United States, which upholds organic standards and provides farmers and handlers with a pathway to profitability, supported by education and policy initiatives. OEFFA serves farmers, processors, and communities seeking resilient food systems, addressing certification, knowledge, and policy needs. The organization maintains ongoing programs such as the Farm Tour and Workshop Series and annual conferences, and in May 2024 appointed Khara Strum as executive director.
