Established in 1996 Paul Johnson and his life-partner, John Bernal, started Off Ramp Leathers in a private studio out of their home in San Francisco. As word spread of the quality repairs and custom garments from Paul, the shop moved to a SOMA studio. Paul is now pleased to announce that he has recently moved his shop to 650 E Sunny Dunes Rd, Unit 3, in beautiful Palm Springs, CA. The business remains small and our pride is our attention to detail and one-on-one customer service. Meet the Business Owner: Paul Johnson. Paul Johnson is the creative force of Off Ramp Leathers. He crafts his masterpieces in his shop at 650 E Sunny Dunes Rd, Unit 3, in beautiful Palm Springs, CA. His life-partner, John Bernal, helps with the bookkeeping, advertising and scheduling. Paul has more than 20 years experience, beginning with making and repairing equestrian tack for a busy farm. His exeptional skills have been honed by stints working with Innovations Leather in Boston, and the Mr. S. Leather Company in San Francisco. It's all about trust!
