NuVu High School, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, operates in the primary and secondary education sector with a distinctive studio-based learning model. Rather than traditional classes, the school runs a series of design studios designed to spark student curiosity through hands-on, project-focused work. Its pedagogy centers on creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration as students tackle real-world challenges. The learning environment is described as a studio space designed for and by students, encouraging exploration, invention, and experimentation.

The school serves a relatively small to mid-sized community of learners within the Cambridge area, reflecting a lean organizational footprint. In November 2023, NuVu School announced a partnership with the Design Museum Foundation to support events such as the Queer Youth Empowerment Studio and related programming with Design Museum Everywhere.
