Nupix, LLC is a small Corning, New York-based company developing display technology for retail and large-format applications. Its core invention is a novel electroded sheet structure and a low-cost method to manufacture reflective, full-color LCDs that require very little power, enabling vivid price-edge imagery. The technology relies on eSheets with conductive wire electrodes embedded in polymer sheets to form the addressing planes, allowing price rails to span from short shelf sections to the length of a store aisle. 

Long eShelves could display over 100 products along a single edge, supported by a digital infrastructure intended to manage products, interact with customers and employees, and support shelf-edge advertising. In addition to price rails, the eSheet LCDs are envisioned for a range of large-format applications such as electronic boards, billboards, large signage, tabletops, and other extensive displays.
