Founded in 1952, Norwood School is a coeducational independent day school located in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. We serve approximately 450 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade on our beautiful 40-acre campus. Our mission is to educate the whole child—intellectually, socially, and ethically—in a student-centered, challenging, and nurturing environment.
