Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault, known as Northwest CASA, is a nonprofit organization with four decades of service to survivors of sexual violence and their significant others. It operates as the region’s only nonprofit, full-service agency dedicated entirely to serving sexual assault survivors and their partners, friends, and families across the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County. Based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, the organization maintains a small staff to deliver its programs and services. Northwest CASA offers free and confidential services designed to support safety, healing, and empowerment. These include counseling for survivors and significant others, prevention and community education, and around-the-clock advocacy at area police stations, courts, and hospitals, as well as a 24-hour crisis hotline. Through these resources, the agency helps individuals affected by sexual violence and their networks navigate the immediate crisis and long-term needs within the Cook County region.
