WXRV (The River 92.5 FM) is 50,000 watt adult album alternative radio station city of license is in Andover, Massachusetts, with a signal covering most of northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, and audible as far away as Plymouth, Massachusetts. WXRV serves the Greater Boston area; its signal also reaches into the nearby Manchester and Portsmouth markets. The studios are located in Haverhill, in the original art deco building one of the last live, local and independent stations. In the northwest part of Central Massachusetts WXRG (99.9 FM), licensed to Athol, Massachusetts. The signal for WXRG can also be heard in parts of Franklin County, Massachusetts as well as southern New Hampshire and southern Vermont. WLKC (105.7 FM), licensed to Campton, New Hampshire.105.7 The River is truly independent radio for the Lakes and Mountains. The River plays a diverse blend of music from the artists you grew up with like The Beatles, Talking Heads, The Police along side new favorites like Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys and Adele. Our philosophy at the River is that a good song deserves to be played regardless of when it was recorded, this mantra makes the River’s playlist span over five decades. We love to play local artists on The River as well with artists like Ray LaMontagne and Guster who's been with us since the beginning.
