North American Grouse Partnership is a small not-for-profit environmental organization based in Red Lodge, Montana. Founded in 1999 by wildlife professionals, it serves as a national and international advocate for North American grouse. Its mission is to conserve and restore landscapes and habitats essential to grouse survival with the goal of rebuilding populations. The organization operates across private and public lands, recognizing grouse as indicators of habitat health and engaging sportspersons, birders, biologists and land managers in conservation efforts. The organization notes long-term declines in prairie and sage grouse, with petitions for listing and concerns about endangerment within about ten years; Ted Koch has led the organization as executive director since 2019.
