NextGen Parking was formed in 2002 to address increasing demand for more sophisticated technology applications in commercial and institutional parking.  Headquartered in Houston, NextGen Parking has served clients in various markets including educational institutions, health care facilities, commercial office buildings, municipal off-street parking garages, airports, industrial applications, and retail establishments, as wells as parking management companies who also serve those markets.  Primarily a distributor of vehicle access and revenue control systems, NextGen Parking also provides ancillary systems and services for garage transaction monitoring (video), intercom (audio), access control, as well as enabling technologies such as networking and data communications infrastructure which this equipment requires.

NextGen Parking regularly serves commercial clients in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, but has performed installations on both coasts, (Seattle and Atlanta) through its NextGen Parking subsidiary.
