New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute (NJHCQI) is a mid-sized, independent, nonpartisan public policy organization based in Princeton, New Jersey. It brings together providers, payers, patients, and decision makers to advance health care safety, quality, and affordability through collaborative efforts. The institute serves as an advocate for accountability and transparency in New Jersey’s health care system. Through a network of more than 100 member organizations, it supports collective work aimed at improving care for residents of the state. Recent activities illustrate its collaborative approach, including partnerships with Parker Family Health Center, Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Virtua Health, and athenahealth to learn from care models and support transitions in care delivery and health information systems. It has launched programs such as the Youth Integrated System of Care and established a dedicated resource hub at essentialjobsnj.org to accompany workforce and care initiatives in New Jersey.
