Literacy grants NBPS recently secured $1.26M in state literacy grants to strengthen instruction across early childhood through middle school. With 11 schools and an active Adult Learning Center serving thousands of graduates, there is strong demand for literacy software, screening tools, tutoring programs, and teacher professional development. This creates opportunities to offer integrated edtech solutions, data-informed interventions, and family engagement resources that align with grant goals.

Workforce partnerships The district runs four themed career institutes in New Brunswick High School and operates Health Sciences Technology High School, plus an active Adult Learning Center with over 4,000 graduates. This positions NBPS as a strong partner for internship programs, apprenticeship pathways, credentialing platforms, and industry-aligned curricula. Vendors could provide career-readiness software, simulation tools, equipment, and employer engagement services.

Data & security NBPS uses analytics and modern web technology (Piwik PRO Core, Stimulus, Google Fonts API, Microsoft ASP.NET) indicating a data-driven culture. There is opportunity to offer integrated student information systems and learning analytics, cybersecurity and privacy services, cloud-based hosting, and training to maximize the value of the existing technology stack.

Partnerships & grants Recent collaboration with Windows of Understanding signals willingness to co-create programs across campuses. Combined with ongoing literacy funding, NBPS is well-positioned to pursue additional grants for SEL, equity, and digital literacy initiatives. A services suite including program evaluation, grant writing support, and partnership development could accelerate funded programs.

Facilities modernization NBPS acquired district assets in 2013 and oversees 11 schools plus multiple specialized institutes, highlighting ongoing infrastructure needs. Opportunities exist for facilities technology upgrades (AV, STEM labs, network upgrades), energy efficiency projects, and procurement of classroom hardware and security enhancements as the district invests in long-term modernization.
