Native Counselling Services of Alberta (NCSA) is a non-profit Indigenous organization based in Edmonton, Alberta, that has operated for over 50 years. Its work centers on designing and delivering programs for Indigenous people by Indigenous people, spanning family, youth, criminal justice, and restorative justice initiatives, including Indigenous Courtwork and two correctional facilities. The organization emphasizes support that helps Indigenous individuals navigate complex legal and court processes, aiming to reduce alienation and promote fair treatment across the province. NCSA has also developed training and resource programs over more than four decades, contributing to leadership in Indigenous education and restorative practices. A recent development noted is the launch of Housing First teams in partnership with Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society to assist Indigenous youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness in the Edmonton area.
