National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) is a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado, founded in 1991 by dental directors from Federally Qualified Community Health Centers who sought peer networking, collaboration, research, and practical support for running effective oral health programs. The organization serves safety-net oral health providers and aims to strengthen their capacity through resources and learning opportunities, including an Operations Manual and an annual conference that offer guidance and networking. NNOHA operates within the health and nonprofit sectors, focusing on improving access to oral health care for underserved populations by supporting the governance, administration, and program development of safety-net oral health services. The group has established partnerships and resources for its members, and in 2019 it expanded its collaborative efforts by partnering with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council to produce educational material on oral health and diabetes for patients experiencing homelessness.
