The National Museum of Wildlife Art, based in Jackson, Wyoming, focuses on wildlife-themed art and humanity’s relationship with nature. It houses an internationally recognized collection of more than 5,000 cataloged works and presents exhibitions drawn from its holdings as well as shows from around the world. The museum is housed in an award-winning green building that overlooks the 25,000-acre National Elk Refuge and lies en route to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, reinforcing a link between the museum, its subject matter, and the surrounding wilderness. Visitors can explore 14 galleries and access amenities such as the Museum Shop, Palate Café, the Children's Discovery Gallery, and a Library, in addition to programming for all ages. The institution maintains an online schedule of exhibitions and events and has engaged in partnerships to expand its programming, including a 2022 collaboration with Creature Conserve to present Re-Imagining Conservation.
