National Beta is a mid-sized nonprofit organization based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, founded in 1934. It is the largest independent educational youth organization in the United States, serving students in grades 4 through 12 through its Elementary, Junior, and Senior Beta divisions. The organization aims to recognize high academic achievement, nurture character, foster leadership, and encourage service within school communities.
