The National Bankers Association is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing minority-owned and -operated banks across the United States. Founded in 1927, it describes itself as the voice of minority banking and works to strengthen access to affordable financial services in underserved communities.

The organization pursues policy advocacy, strategic partnerships, and programs through its nonprofit arm, the National Bankers Community Alliance, to support economic revitalization and capital access in low- to moderate-income areas. Its member banks span Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander, and women-owned institutions that collectively aim to serve underserved markets. A notable development in recent years was the launch of the Next Generation Advisory Council in 2022, reflecting an emphasis on engaging emerging leaders within the network.
