Music City Starfactory is a San Francisco-based organization that operates as a multimedia music hub, combining performance venues, rehearsal spaces, and educational facilities into a single ecosystem. It functions as an artist accelerator and incubator, prioritizing in-person collaboration within a brick-and-mortar setting. The complex includes six live-streaming venues, twenty streaming-capable rehearsal studios, a 600-person outdoor venue, and a 160-exhibit San Francisco Bay Area Music Hall of Fame, forming a centralized center for musical activity. The project is described as the largest audio/visual complex in Northern California and is modeled after Motown’s approach to artist development. Its primary audience comprises musicians, songwriters, singers, production teams, and audio-visual professionals who use the facilities for recording, rehearsal, and live-streamed performances, supported by an adjoining bistro/bar and hotel/hostel that sustain the music community.
