Morrison Center is a private, non-profit organization in the field of individual and family services that serves people with disabilities in the greater Portland area, based in Scarborough, Maine. It offers comprehensive programming, individualized supports, and employment services within a dynamic learning environment to help clients achieve personal growth and greater independence. The center serves children and adults of all ages and abilities, including medically complex individuals, with services delivered by a team of educators, therapists, and direct care professionals and supported on site by a registered nurse. Its history dates to 1951 when local voluntary groups formed an alliance to provide services, and it was later named to honor Betty Morrison for her long leadership; today it operates programs in Scarborough and Wells. In October 2025, Morrison Center announced leadership appointments, naming Alyson Frederick as Controller and Laura Wolfson as Senior Director of Human Resources to oversee finance and HR operations.
