The towers are intended to fit a range of boats, providing a versatile platform for these sports. Its customer base includes individual riders and boat owners who seek a reliable, adaptable aftermarket solution for wake sports. The development effort integrated feedback from engineers, marketing professionals, top wakeboarders, and boat dealers to address installation, ownership, design, and manufacturing considerations. Based in Maryville, Tennessee, Monster Tower was founded in 2002 by a small group of engineers who were wakeboard enthusiasts and sought to improve aftermarket options. Since then, the company has grown to collaborate with professionals across the United States to address installation, ownership, and design considerations in wakeboard towers, while aiming to deliver a high-quality universal solution at an accessible price.
