Mission Emanuel is a partnership ministry located in the Dominican Republic focused on transforming a community through the power of Jesus Christ. The ministry is geographically headquartered in the small villages of Cielo and Nazaret, located on the western edge of Santo Domingo. Between two campuses, the mission has two schools, a medical center with a physical therapy clinic, dental office, water filtration plant, women’s cooperative workroom, screen-printing room and multiple storage facilities. Our US-based office in Winston-Salem, North Carolina serves as the center of administrative and team/travel support.

Mission Emanuel hosts short-term missions teams from all over the US throughout the year. While the teams work on various construction projects, the main focus is on building relationships. Teams are encouraged to spend time in the community meeting people and gaining a new perspective on God, another culture, and the developing world.

Our staff, trip participants, and residents are committed to seeking change in an impoverished community that will last for generations.
