Miraco operates in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector, with activities spanning manufacturing, distribution, HVAC contracting, commercial refrigeration, and service. The company's origins trace back to 1976 when Miraco was founded as a joint-stock company in Egypt, based in 6th of October City, Giza, with the original Abu Rewash factory established in 1979. Its manufacturing footprint has since grown to a complex covering more than 90,000 square meters and a production capacity exceeding one million boxes per year. Strategic partnerships have accompanied its expansion, including a long-standing relationship with Carrier and later involvement by Midea.
