Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative is a mid-sized electric utility cooperative based in Jordan, Minnesota, serving its members in the region. As a member-owned utility in the electric sector, it provides electricity and related services to residents and businesses within its service area. 
 
 MVEC has implemented an electric vehicle program launched in 2018, with a focus on time-of-use rates. It has pursued partnerships with industry groups and technology providers, including a telematics study launched in October 2023 in collaboration with FlexCharging, Great River Energy, and NRECA. More recently, MVEC began a microgrid initiative at a substation in collaboration with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community to strengthen resilience and support sustainability goals.
