Mianus River Gorge, Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on conserving the natural heritage of the Mianus River watershed through land acquisition, conservation efforts, scientific research, and public education. It protects more than 1,000 acres across Bedford, North Castle and Pound Ridge in New York and Stamford, Connecticut, including one of the region's remaining old-growth forests, and it manages a 794-acre nature preserve with five miles of hiking trails and outdoor exhibits.
