The Metrowest Health Foundation is an independent health philanthropy whose mission is to improve the health status of the community, its individuals, and families through informed and innovative leadership. Since 1999, the Foundation has provided over $50 million in financial support to nonprofit and governmental organizations to address the unmet health needs of twenty-five MetroWest communities with particular concern to vulnerable populations. In addition to providing grant funding, the Foundation also serves as a catalyst and convener for better understanding and responding to health needs in the MetroWest area of Boston. The Foundation regularly produces reports that highlight heath data, trends and solutions to area health needs, and makes resources and trainings on racism and health equity widely available to its partners.
