Metropolitan Counseling Services strives to be a leader in providing affordable and specialized outpatient counseling, while training the next generation of psychotherapists. MCS is dedicated to helping adults create positive change in their lives through affordable psychotherapy and counseling. This process fosters balance, self-respect, and healthy relationships. 

Since 1995, MCS has helped change the lives of adults suffering from mental and emotional concerns.  MCS provides help through individual, couples, and group psychotherapy on an affordable, sliding fee scale—as low as $30 a session.  At MCS, therapy is aimed at everyday people—people who need help with relationships, parenting, recovery from sexual, physical and substance abuse, and people who suffer from depression, anxiety, and stress.

Additionally, Metropolitan Counseling Services offers one of the few settings in the Atlanta area where therapists working towards licensure can receive clinical supervision and hands-on clinical experience to satisfy licensure requirements. MCS faculty members serve as clinical supervisors for the training program and are qualified for clinicians seeking licensure as psychologists, social workers, and licensed professional counselors. This rigorous training program features weekly training on a variety of clinical theories and presenting clinical issues, in addition to individual and group supervision.
