Meridian Institute is a nonprofit consultancy in the field of alternative dispute resolution. For more than 25 years, it has helped partners improve lives, the environment, and the economy by tailoring its skills to the stage and scale of the issues they face.

Based in Washington, DC, Meridian works with a range of clients—from international policymakers to local conservation groups—and employs a systems-based approach that spans climate, food systems, health and wellbeing, life on land, oceans and freshwater, and technology and society. In 2024, the organization added a Senior Director of Climate and Agriculture Strategy and launched the Farm Labor Stabilization and Protection Pilot Program. Earlier collaborations include a 2021 partnership with Ocean Strategies to gather stakeholder feedback on potential aquaculture expansion.
