Our Mission: Inspiring people to implement life-long habits for self-detection and prevention of skin cancer.

The Melanoma Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to saving lives from melanoma, a common skin cancer that is often deadly unless detected early before there are any symptoms. The Foundation increases awareness of melanoma two ways:

Educates middle and high school health teachers and provides them with free online classroom lessons for their students.
Provides complete information about early self-detection and prevention of melanoma in a user-friendly website.
The Melanoma Lesson (formerly The SkinCheck® Class) is currently taught in over 1,700 schools throughout the US. Read about its impact >
