Media Burn Archive is a project of the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Fund for Innovative TV, which has been producing challenging documentary video and television since 1990.

Media Burn collects, restores and distributes documentary video created by artists, activists and community groups. To support our cultural and educational activities, we offer archival quality tape transfer services to a wide variety of corporate, institutional, and broadcast clients.
 
Since Media Burn’s founding in 2003, we have quickly become a nationally-recognized leader in the field of video preservation. Our transfer and preservation methodologies correspond to the highest national archival standards and have been recognized with grants from the National Archives and Records Administration, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Endowment for the Arts, and others.
