MDG salon|studio (formerly Meridian Design Group) has been growing since it was established in 1985. Founders Joe and Sue Moore created a comfortable, safe and professional environment for salon professionals to perform their artistry and work. As the industry changed, so did their perspective. In 2010, they began a new viewpoint after collaborating with their son, Travis, and current designer David Yeager. After two years of development, MDG salon|studio rolled out its new salon and studio concept, along with a marketing platform to support this endeavor in the summer of 2012.


Preferences and working environments have changed worldwide within salon cultures and the new challenge of MDG salon|studio was to create a new perspective while accommodating the foundation of the business, combining the strengths of the past with the direction of the new way of business.
