Maverest Dental Network operates a credentialed network of dentists made available to insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, the company was founded in 1996 by Robert McKelvey with the aim of delivering access to quality dental care at moderate discounts by reducing administrative costs through technology. The arrangement centers on sharing in the cost savings generated for clients, aligning the interests of participating dentists with those sponsoring coverage.

Since its acquisition by Renaissance Electronic Services in 2012, the network has grown to include more than 38,000 participating dentists across all 50 states. Its client roster includes major insurers such as Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, and Principle, as well as TPAs and employer groups. In 2015 Maverest Plus was launched, offering higher reimbursement to dentists who use Renaissance Systems and Services for electronic claims.
