Founded in 1936, the Martinez Chamber of Commerce has grown into a grassroots, member-driven association of businessmen and women. The Chamber advocates common business interests, fosters and promotes a healthy, competitive business climate and enhances the quality of life in Martinez. 

The Chamber is ever-moving forward to meet high standards of performance in planning, programming and conducting a well-balanced program of work. 

The Martinez Chamber is composed of dedicated volunteers and a professional staff. The 7-member board of directors is responsible for the goals, policy and direction of the organization while the President & CEO coordinates the accomplishment of those goals. At the heart of the Chamber are energetic committees and a variety of task forces, undertaking a wide range of projects in a variety of areas. Certainly no business in Contra Costa County is complete without a membership in the Martinez Chamber of Commerce.
