GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES Martinez’s personnel have provided geotechnical engineering services for a variety of transportation projects in Colorado for over 30 years. We have an intimate knowledge of the unique geological and geotechnical conditions in the Front Range and throughout the state. We have worked extensively in subsurface conditions with expansive and collapsible soils, sedimentary and hard rock formations, and areas of geologic hazards. PAVEMENT SERVICES Martinez provides pavement services in conjunction with geotechnical services. Our engineers are capable to provide design and analysis for full-depth asphalt, concrete and composite sections. Services utilizing falling-weight, ground penetration, and coring are also available for evaluating existing pavements to provide recommendations for rehabilitation or to establish a pavement database for future pavement fund allocations. ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES Martinez provides quality inspection services during the construction of numerous projects including public works projects, local and State roadways, bridges, mines, and commercial structures. CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION AND MATERIALS TESTING Martinez provides construction materials testing and inspection services that can significantly reduce uncertainties during the construction process. Our engineers work closely with design professionals and other project team members throughout the project’s duration, balancing the often-competing elements. GEOTECHNICAL AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES Martinez maintains an AASHTO accredited laboratory for the evaluation, design, and testing of soils, bedrock, concrete, and asphalt. Laboratory tests are performed by trained, experienced technicians, many of whom are certified through NICET, ACI, WAQTC, and CAPA.
