Based in Quantico, Virginia, the Marine Corps University Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports Marine education. It advances the development of Marine leaders by financing and coordinating a range of educational activities tied to the Marine Corps University, including lectures, staff rides, book studies, battlefield visits, and other professional military education programs worldwide. 

By bridging the gap between government funding and the university's instructional needs, the foundation provides resources that enable Marines to pursue professional military education. Donor support has helped units such as the 6th Marine Regiment and the Marine Cryptologic Support Battalion access professional military education. The organization aims to fund 100% of PME requests, with the principle that no Marine or unit request should be left behind, even though the goal has not yet been reached. In 2026, MCUF hosted the Semper Fidelis Award Ceremony & Dinner in Arlington.
