Since its founding, Mainstreet Brass has been guided by a straightforward goal — to present interesting and entertaining music to its audiences. The quintet has performed for enthusiastic audiences at arts festivals and concert series throughout the United States the United Kingdom. Described by presenters as “marvelously delightful” and “magical, balanced and alive,” Mainstreet Brass presents varied repertoire spanning the centuries — from classical music to the blues. The ensemble is recognized for its refined playing, presenting engaging, accessible literature for all audiences and for actively commissioning new works and arrangements. A MSR Classics artist, Mainstreet Brass has two critically acclaimed recordings, “Christmas Spirit,” (MS 1325) and “By Request” (MS 1290). Mainstreet Brass is the guest quintet at the historic Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem, Pa. Besides its concert schedule, the group also performs regularly for church services in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and provides ceremonial music for academic ceremonies at regional colleges and universities.
