Founded in 2001, LUCE continuously creates unique experiences around the world. Our work, which has been called “radiantly beautiful” by The New York Times and “superb lighting” by The Boston Globe, ranges from award-winning galleries and museums to colorfully cued environments in theme parks and major science centers. With our roots in theatrical design, LUCE brings a collaborative approach to all of our projects. All LUCE team members are engaging, responsive, and creative problem solvers, having worked with a variety of clients and designers to create seamless experiences. Sustainable design is at the forefront of every decision we make. We are constantly seeking out the latest technology and energy efficiency and, conversely, have been sought out by manufacturers to help guide the development of new equipment. Our team is hands-on throughout the design and installation process, ensuring excellence from beginning to end and that every project functions smoothly, exceeds aesthetic requirements, and works within all budget and schedule constraints. In 2018, QUANTUM CREATIVE STUDIOS acquired LUCE, cementing a formal strategic partnership between the two companies. Quantum's Director of Design and Development, Richard Chamblin, leads the LUCE design teams and is supported by the Quantum executive leadership, HR, and marketing departments.
