Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he’s opening Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. The town of Lucca is full of tradition and history. The classic recipes have been passed down over generations and the flavors are appreciated all over the world. At Lucca Osteria & Bar in Oakbrook we embrace this rustic food, the art of taste, and all of the tradition. It is important for us to respect the seasonality of each ingredient, to make use of its full potential. This brings us a continuous cycle of variety — aromas and flavors evolve throughout the year.
