Lower Lights Health is a faith-based nonprofit medical center functioning as a Federally Qualified Health Center to provide comprehensive, full-service care. Its offerings span primary care, women's health, behavioral health, dental, vision, nutrition, pharmacy, and, for those who wish, spiritual care, all delivered with a focus on whole-person wellness. Founded in 2002 to improve access to affordable care in Franklinton, the organization now operates seven locations across Central Ohio and serves about 15,000 patients annually. As a community-focused medical home, it emphasizes care regardless of ability to pay and integrates physical and mental health services with optional spiritual support. Recent developments include recognition as Gold-level achievement in the Check program and a 2025 partnership with AndHealth to expand specialty care and specialty pharmacy services.
