Lovepacs is a nonprofit organization based in The Colony, Texas, founded in 2011 to address food insecurity among local children during holiday breaks when free-lunch options are unavailable. What began with neighbors feeding nearly 200 children in its first year has grown into a program serving more than 6,000 children across 225 schools in 10 Texas districts, with more than 3.5 million meals delivered since inception. 

The organization targets school-age children in families reliant on school meal programs, working with schools and community groups to provide meals during breaks and holidays. Its activities include collaborations with local businesses to support weekend meals and programs such as Adopt a Box (launched in 2022), and there was a 2025 partnership with Preston Meadow Lutheran Church to expand Lovepacs’ presence in the Plano area.
