LookOut Worldwide, Inc. provides theft-prevention and real-time vessel tracking of all types of high-performance, center-console and open-fisherman vessels and yachts.  

Our aim is to PREVENT the theft of the vessel from occurring, rather than just recovering the vessel once it has been taken.  Our technology sets a reference point, such that, when activated it instantly trips the alarm and can initiate engine cut-off after detecting any change in heading angle or lineal movement.  So the vessel is…STOPPED AT THE DOCK!

The system’s uniqueness is based upon a new technology, which uses nature's oldest most reliable navigation device, the Earth's Geo-Magnetic field... we call it CompasSafe™ and is offered by no other competitor.   Whether the vessel is on a trailer, a boat lift, or tied to a dock it sets a reference point, which when activated by any change in the heading angle, will instantly and automatically:

       -  trigger an alarm, sending SMS Text and e-mail Messages to up to ten (10) user selected contacts;
       -  begin vessel tracking, which can be seen using our  MapTrack capability on a PC, laptop or iPad.

This technology goes beyond the effectiveness and accuracy offered by the GPS (Geo-fence) based systems, which admittedly are accurate to 500 meters.   CompasSafe™ allows for instant alarm and engine cut-off (optional equipment) which of course decreases the chance of theft.
