Life After Hate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves to inspire individuals to a place of compassion and forgiveness for themselves and for all people. Created in 2009 by former influential members of the radicalized American right-wing movement, LIFE AFTER HATE works with leaders in multiple sectors who are searching for insight and strategic solutions prior to tragedy striking. LIFE AFTER HATE’s core services stem from the foundation of our members’ reformed ideology, decades of unique experiential immersion, and intense training within the world’s most violent extremist organizations. LAH explores issues and helps solve problems rooted in a disconnect from our common humanity; terrorism, lone wolf/mass violence, ultra-nationalism, revenge bullying, sexism, racism, homophobia, religious intolerance, street gangs, and substance abuse, among others. Our mission is to provide a unique perspective on hatred/love and violence/peace. Founded by former violent extremists, we now strive to educate, demonstrate and practice the primal, basic goodness of humanity and to explore common threads that interconnect us all. We all need compassion, and we can all give it.
