Licor Beirão is a Portuguese liqueur produced by J. Carranca Redondo, Lda., a company established in 1940 with a long history linked to Lousã. Current production takes place at Quinta do Meiral in Lousã, within the Coimbra District, where the operation covers more than 12 hectares and cultivates some aromatic plants and seeds to support quality control, while other ingredients are sourced from regions as far as India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and Turkey. The arrangement reflects a blend of local cultivation and global sourcing to maintain the product’s distinct profile.

In 2023, the company announced plans to construct a new factory in the Alto do Padrão Industrial Zone in Lousã to support international growth. The brand also received a Gold medal at The Liqueur & Specialty Spirits Masters 2024, reflecting external recognition of its product.
