LeadingAge Ohio is a nonprofit membership organization in Ohio that represents nearly 500 providers of long-term services and supports across pre- and post-acute care. Its members operate a range of care and housing options, including life plan communities, nursing facilities, assisted living, adult day centers, county homes, home health, hospice, and palliative care programs, serving about 400,000 Ohioans annually. Based in Columbus, Ohio, it advocates for quality, innovation, and greater value and access in aging care for Ohioans. Gateways to Care, a resource site launched in January 2023 and updated in March 2024, provides links to job boards, data on Ohio's aging landscape, policy ideas, caregiver stories, and sector news. The organization also led a public awareness campaign in January 2023 to challenge misperceptions about aging health care and to improve access to careers in these services.
